I’m Staying 1 More Month in Antalya

Last travel update I mentioned experiencing creative burnout + while the burnout is still lingering, I’ve been able to manage + rearrange my projects + time. I’m focusing on client work as an Online Business Manager, I’ve stopped posting on TikTok + have committed to catching up on my travel ig stories. With just over 2 months left of 2024, as a solopreneur it felt important to take a moment to reflect on my business, growth + future goals.

I've also decided to extend my stay in Antalya to help eliminate additional travel decisions. It felt right to stay one more month in a place that I’ve already established a routine, a small community, (somewhere to celebrate my birthday) + being seaside isn’t so bad.

Last weekend, I visited a local market + was fully impressed by the abundance of fruits + vegetables all grown within the region. By chance a Turkish oil wrestling match was happening just outside of town which I dragged some of my new local friends to attend with me for their first time too. It ended with a visit to the local ancient city of Perge, which I share in my Travel Community all the unique destinations I find being able to spend time with international people + locals.

It’s a great reminder that connecting ahead of time before visiting a location is super important + if you’re ever coming to Turkey jump into my travel group because I can make sure to connect you with locals in Antalya here + I have a few friends in Istanbul.

Better yet... next Monday is the monthly Community Call, come say hi.
