Luxury Buses + Maximizing Airbnbs in Vienna

This country gives me nostalgic familiarities of my German roots! I’m in the city of Vienna here to join Canadian friends, as they attend a dance intensive. It's been a treat to be around a group of Canadians after 10 months away from people who say “eh”!

To get to Vienna, I took a bus from Budapest

  1. I had a FlixBus credit to use up

  2. It was cheaper than the train for the same amount of time.

Usually I book with FlixBus but then get a partner operating company…this time I got a real FlixBus + it was even a double-decker! A really comfortable three hour ride (although no rest stops).

I wish I could list all the amazing things about Vienna but unfortunately the last 8 weeks of busy travel caught up to me in the form of a respiratory infection of sorts + your girl is doing a round of antibiotics.

I did manage to do a walking tour on Tuesday, through my favourite platform GuruWalks + a talented tour guide Anna! Providing me with a rich history lesson of Austria + a quick overview of Vienna.

Otherwise, I’ve been chilling at my shared Airbnb, which is thankfully spacious + cool trying to refill my energy batteries for a big adventure I’m going on next week!
